Anna West, a Salt Lake City public relations veteran of 14 years, announced the opening of her own PR shop, West Public Relations. After 9 years spent handling PR needs client-side, including 8 years as a spokeswoman for the Utah Department of Health, and 5 years spent serving clients as an employee of a downtown advertising agency, she is positioned for success as she launches her business.
“After five rewarding years spent working for an advertising firm, I’m excited to open my own shop,” said Anna West, PR director and owner of West Public Relations. “Specifically, I’ve designed my business model to make PR service more affordable for the important small businesses that drive Utah’s economy. In addition, non-profit groups have important messages to share, but expensive fees may be out of reach. That’s why I’m offering special pricing for non-profit groups.”
West’s client list includes Moore Hair Design, Realty Experts and the Oquirrh Mountain Symphony. In addition, she is giving back to the small business community by sponsoring PR Services for the Vest Pocket Coalition, a networking and education organization for Salt Lake Valley small business owners.
