Riverton — Peterson’s Market has purchased and remodeled a Fresh Market store and will host a ribbon cutting on Monday.
The new store located at 1784 West 12600 South, will be called Peterson’s Fresh Market and is located across the street from the current Peterson’s location. The new building includes Peterson’s meat department, which features Certified Angus Beef, signature recipe ground beef along with a made-from-scratch bakery. The new location also includes a larger produce section, in-store dining improvements and a compounding pharmacy.
“We are very excited about our new location,” said Monte Peterson, owner. “For over 75 years we serviced our local communities in the southern part of the Salt Lake Valley. We love our neighborhood and guests and hope they will continue to support us in our new location.”
Peterson’s has been in Riverton since 1938. It is a family-owned and operated grocery store.
“Our new building is beautiful and we know our guests will love it,” said Jan Horrocks, owner. “Our guests will enjoy the improvements in our new building as we will have more offerings and better access.”
In-store events will take place to celebrate Peterson’s new location. Guests can enter to win a free Western Family Shopping Spree and other prize drawings will also occur. More information and deals can be found in the weekly ad at petersonsfreshmarket.com.
