The real estate experts at Mountain West Retail/Investment have facilitated transactions of two major retailers in Utah recently. Trader Joe’s recently announced its first Utah location in downtown Salt Lake City. Dollar Tree has also secured a new location in Lindon. Mountain West Retail/Investment retail specialists Andy Moffitt and Troy Hardy represented the landlords in both transactions.
Trader Joe’s will open its first Utah location at The Family Center at 400 South 600 East in Salt Lake City. Moffitt and Hardy represented The Family Center in the transaction. The store will open by the end of the year and will occupy approximately 12,700 square feet at the location.
The new Dollar Tree location will occupy 9,321 square feet at the Lindon Retail shopping center at 700 North State Street in Lindon.
Speaking of the recent transactions, Moffitt said, “These major retailers moving into Utah or expanding in the state reflect the positive momentum of Utah’s economy. We’re excited that major retailers see the potential Utah has and are moving to capitalize on this.”
“These retailers are just a few of the many companies we have worked with this year. We are happy that businesses are expanding and moving and that we are able to work with landlords and tenants to bring these companies to Utah,” added Hardy.
