Mountain States Fence Celebrates 50th Anniversary

Incorporated in 1963 in Salt Lake City, the Mountain States Fence Company has established itself as the preeminent brand in commercial and industrial fencing. In recent years, it has completed several high-profile fencing projects throughout the Intermountain West, including the Salt Lake Olympic Stadium, the I-15 reconstruction project, the Pioneer Crossing project and the Winco Food Distribution Center in Boise, Idaho.

The company has always had a strong link to the community and the industry. Immediately following the company’s inception, Mountain States Fence became a member of the Associated General Contractors. It is also actively involved in other organizations, such as the Associated Builders and Contractors, the American Fence Association, the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce and the South Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce.

Mountain States Fence would not be where it is today without a dedicated group of hard working employees. The company has a staff of more than 40 people who represent the best and brightest in the industry. These employees also deserve thanks for Mountain State’s exemplary safety record. The company completed 2012 without an accident and has won many state and national awards for its safe work practices.

As Mountain States Fence celebrates its first 50 years in business, it looks forward to another half-century of safety, reliability, community involvement, growth and success.
