Do Not Fear Devices

In spite of all the potential security risks, companies that ban BYOD are missing out on many benefits.

 “Letting [employees] have the device they’re comfortable with is a huge competitive advantage,” says Mike Temple, director of product management at LANDesk. “Companies that still have that ‘ivory tower’ mentality are losing top-end workers because they don’t want to work on these antiquated platforms.”

So no matter what the concern is, smart corporations prepared for the future will find a way to make BYOD a reality for all employees. Whether it’s a cloud-based solution or a management infrastructure tool, solutions are available for any organization to effectively manage their employees’ devices.
