Larkin Mortuary hosted a free community seminar titled “Exploring Critical Questions when Someone Dies,” with Dr. Alan D. Wolfelt. The seminar was held Thursday, Sept. 27 at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
“It is never easy to address the issue of grief and healing after the loss of a loved one,” said Spencer Larkin, chief operating officer and vice president. “In a caring and supportive environment, this seminar is intended to help those with questions on grief and the healing process.”
Wolfelt is a nationally recognized author, educator and grief counselor. He has been a contributor on the topic of grief and healing on the Oprah Winfrey Show, Larry King Live and the Today Show. He is the founder and director of the Center for Loss and Life Transition in Fort Collins, Colo., and is also a faculty member of the University of Colorado Medical School’s Department of Family Medicine.
