Roosevelt — JWright Companies, Inc., based in Evanston, Wyo., has acquired J&R Construction, Inc., which is based in Roosevelt. The transaction closed Aug. 21.
J&R offers a variety of oil and gas field services, including building locations, roads, and tank batteries, as well as laying pipelines and roadways. It operates in a region with substantial fossil energy resources, including coal, natural gas and oil reserves, and is surrounded by three major basins in the eastern part of the state.
"This transaction was the ideal situation in which a highly-strategic buyer was seeking an increased presence in the Wyoming-Utah region for oilfield construction and services,” said Dave Lewis, managing director of Generational Equity, an acquisitions advisor that assisted with the deal.
"We are dedicated to meeting and exceeding our clients' expectations, and have developed lasting relationships through our professionalism, organization and value engineering," said Jeffrey D. Wright, president of JWright Companies, Inc.
