Park City — High West Distillery & Saloon was named one of the “World’s Best Après-Ski Scenes” by the travel service and magazine Jet Setter.
The distillery and saloon, was one of seven destinations to earn the recognition, and one of only two from the United States.
Jet Setter praised High West for its gourmet food and drinks, and its distinct location in a 100-year-old former livery stable in Park City’s downtown district.
“You can still drink like a prospector,” the magazine said, citing the wood-paneled walls and craft whiskeys such as Campfire, American Prairie Reserve and Rendezvous Rye.
“Apres ski is truly one of life’s pleasures and we are so proud to be included on a list of such esteemed places,” High West proprietor David Perkins said. High West was awarded a James Beard award in February.
