Green River Capital (GRC), a provider of REO asset management and loss mitigation services for mortgage servicers, investment firms, credit unions and banking institutions, announced that it has created a component servicing division in response to a growing demand for individual, customized services.
GRC’s component servicing division supports institutional investors and lenders involved in various REO-to-rental initiatives. GRC provides pre- and post-acquisition services including collateral underwriting, property and market level due diligence and transaction management services including, title searches, title curative activities, escrow administration and repair oversight. The division currently provides these services on more than 4,000 properties each month and has developed a highly flexible and scaleable platform to absorb additional volume.
“Investor and lender interest in REO-to-rental programs has grown significantly to address the housing needs of borrowers being displaced through the foreclosure process, and at the same time help stabilize neighborhoods and housing markets,” said Lorenz Schwarz, COO of Green River Capital. “We launched our component servicing division to meet the industry’s ever-changing needs and to offer our expertise and services to a new and expanding marketplace. GRC works closely with each client and its counterparties to devise and implement specific processes and workflows to accommodate the unique requirements of each transaction.”
