Generation Rescue is announced a new partnership with Advanced Brain Technologies to support the Rescue Family grant program. The Rescue Family grant program provides grants to families who can not afford medical treatment by providing two doctor visits, lab testing, nutritional counseling and now sound brain fitness training.
Many children diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder are described as having auditory hypersensitivities and other difficulties processing auditory information. Advanced Brain Technologies has created TLP Spectrum, sound brain fitness for the sensory sensitive listener.
“We are thrilled to expand our grant program to include auditory therapy for individuals with an autism spectrum disorder. Auditory sensitivities are additional issues that individuals with an ASD diagnosis have to overcome. With Advanced Brain Technologies specialized program and innovative cloud-based technology, this training can now be done from home,” said Candace McDonald, executive director of Generation Rescue. “We strive to provide a grant program that is personalized, based on scientific research and adaptive to the needs of the autism community. Advanced Brain Technologies is the perfect addition to our program.”
TLP Spectrum creates a healthy relationship with sound. It trains the brain with pleasing evidence-based music, which has been developed to improve sound brain fitness, reduce sensory sensitivities, and help people find comfort in their environment. This unique program is available via Advanced Brain Technologies TLP Cloud the first and only personalized sound brain fitness program that instantly streams high-quality music soundtracks to web connected devices.
“We are honored to partner with Generation Rescue to bring TLP Spectrum to the families benefitting from the Rescue Family grant program. It is a wonderful cause providing meaningful help to families in real need,” said Alex Doman, founder and CEO of Advanced Brain Technologies.
Generation Rescue launched its’ grant program in 2009 and has funded more than 350 families in the United States. Current partners include Barlean’s, BioRay, Doctors Data, Dr. Bo Wagner, Enzymedica, Garden of Life and revitaPOP.
