Jeff Miller | General Manager, Mark Miller Subaru Midtown/Mark Miller Subaru South Towne
Jeff Miller has been involved in his family’s car dealerships for more than a decade, working in almost every job offered—from stocking parts during the summer when he was 15 to his current position as general manager.
Miller says working with his employees to ensure that his customers have an exceptional experience is the best part about his job, especially because treating people right and respecting them is his main philosophy.
“I am very ethical and try and do the right thing, which people see and follow,” he says. “The idea that there are over 175 families that depend on these companies every day to provide for their families [motivates me every day].”
Miller currently serves as a board member at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Intermountain Area, the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Salt Lake, and the South Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce. He was recently elected to the National Dealer Advisory Board for Subaru, and is on the Client Advisor Board for Dealertrack DMS and the National Dealer Advisory Board for Dealertrack Technologies.

Ginger Miller began her career in the healthcare industry as a registered nurse. With a B.S. degree in nursing from the University of Utah and a certification in professional coding, Miller brought her clinical experience to Verisk Health in 2005 as a clinical analyst. She quickly moved up the organizational chart, with roles in product development, coding regulation and fraud control. Now, leading clinical operations, she oversees the processing of nearly one million healthcare claims daily, leading a team of about 100 professionals.
“I have spent my career caring for patients, streamlining operations and delivering technology solutions to government and commercial healthcare clients,” says Miller. She is proud of the products and services Verisk Health offers to the healthcare industry and says, “By eliminating costly fraud, waste and abuse, we can appropriately allocate expenditures that will have a positive impact on our ability to care for the sick, injured, less fortunate, elderly—all of us.”
David Mink | CEO, Avalaunch Media
David Mink co-founded internet marketing firm Avalaunch Media in 2012 with two friends through the idea that bringing a refined approach to online promotion would position a company to grow faster and gain clout. Since then, his company has garnered attention from across the country. In 2013 alone, Mink spoke to audiences about digital marketing at Pubcon, SMX West and SMX Social.
Mink lives by the philosophy of “First who, then what”—a quote made popular by book author Jim Collins. This philosophy has helped Mink maintain success throughout his career, yet he still attributes much of his success to the people he works with, even citing them as the thing he enjoys most about his job.
“I count finding a way to successfully work with some of my best friends without losing the friendship as one of my greatest accomplishments,” he says.
Mink is also a licensed attorney and one of the founding board members of SLC | SEM, a nonprofit business league dedicated to providing search marketing education and information sharing in Utah.
