Provo – East Bay Call Center, a 48,000 square foot call center located at 235 East 1600 South in Provo, has been sold to an investor based in California. The seller is based in Reno, Nev. The building currently houses the Results Companies, Chysalis, and ZipLocal. It was originally a call center for Sears, then MyFamily.com.
Newmark Grubb ACRES Executive Vice President Bryce Blanchard and Vice President Preston Davis were the only agents recognized in the transaction.
“This transaction marked the completion of an ownership cycle for the seller, who acquired the asset as a single-tenant property and thereafter effectively added value through a multi-tenanting process that our brokerage team assisted with,” Blanchard said. “The buyer was in turn able to satisfy a 1031 Exchange requirement in a challenging acquisition market.”
