The Salt Lake City office of CBRE announced that it has been selected by Taco Bell franchisee Mark Peterson (DDO-Utah, LLC) for site selection of several new restaurants in Utah.
The Mexican-style, quick service restaurant chain will open a 2,500 square-foot store in Payson in May of 2012 and several more stores are expected to be announced soon, including one in Herriman where Peterson already purchased land for a new location.
Russ Harris, vice president and Retail Specialist at CBRE, represents Taco Bell. “It has been more than 10 years since Taco Bell has opened a new location in Utah. They recognize that Utah has a vibrant, expanding economy and is well-positioned for future growth; these new locations will be in areas with rapidly growing population segments,” Harris said.
Taco Bell maintains more than 5,600 restaurants nationwide and was recently listed as one of the Top 10 Biggest Food Chains in America (ranked by revenues) by QSR Magazine. The chain reported more than $6.9 billion in U.S. 2010 system wide sales.
