The Salt Lake City office of CBRE announced the sale of the former Utah Fun Dome located at 4998 South Galleria Drive in Murray. The property is a 27-acre mixed-use site that includes a 154,000 square-foot commercial building. The property was purchased by Utah-based Kimball Investments and ICO Construction. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The new owners plan a mixed-use residential and commercial development. The CBRE team of Doug Scheel and Marty Plunkett represented the seller, North Carolina-based First Citizens Bank and Trust Co.
Salt Lake-based Aviacode, a web-based medical coding services company, has relocated and expanded to the 515 Tower in downtown Salt Lake City. The company processes roughly 8 million records a month. In the past year, Aviacode has doubled the number of its employees, which led to its need for more office space. Aviacode will occupy roughly 13,000 square feet of office space in its new location - more than double the space the company occupied at its prior location. Pearson VUE, a provider of global computer-based testing solutions for information technology, academic, government and professional testing programs, signed a lease at Renaissance Center, 1551 South Renaissance Towne Drive in Bountiful.
