Butler Arms USA plans to move to the Metro Business Park at 2355 S. 1070 West in West Valley City, UT. Butler Arms USA will occupy 17,000 square feet of office and manufacturing space while employing up to 125 people at full production.
According to Jason Fogg, chief operating officer for Butler Arms USA, the decision to move the company to Utah was based on several factors, the most important being the wealth of gun-making expertise, high-tech manufacturing base and skilled human resources.
Butler Arms USA is known for its innovative Butler XX12 semi-automatic target shotgun, which reduces felt recoil and increases target accuracy. Designed by hunter Larry Butler of Hailey, Idaho, the Butler XX12 debuted at the January 2012 SHOT Show in Las Vegas. The shotgun is currently being campaigned at various shooting events across the country, most recently at the prestigious Grand American Trap Shoot in Sparta, Illinois.
Built entirely in the USA, the Butler XX12 platform will soon be made into a field version for hunters, with law enforcement and home defense models also on the drawing board.
