Merit Medical

South Jordan − The newest additions to Merit Medical’s South Jordan campus are a 255,000-square-foot production building, receiving building and three-level parking structure. The facilities include clean room areas for producing medical devices, administrative offices, packaging areas and a cafeteria.

L.S. Skaggs Pharmacy Research Institute

Salt Lake City − This five-story, 155,000-square-foot building will house laboratories, animal facilities, support areas, offices and conference rooms. Additional space is for non-laboratory research and the Utah Poison Control Center.

Cornerstone at Cottonwood Corporate Center

Cottonwood Heights − This project will be designed to achieve the LEED Silver designation and will consist of two buildings, one containing 150,000 square feet and the other 100,000 square feet. A very prominent three-story common lobby will join the buildings, and the materials will be sandstone, glass, copper and metal.

RC Willey Draper

Draper − The largest RC Willey store in Utah is being built on an eight-acre parcel on Furniture Row. The 160,000-square-foot retail complex will feature RC Willey’s signature showrooms for brand-name home furnishings, appliances, flooring, mattresses and electronics.

Valley Fair Mall

West Valley − This phase is an 85,000-square-foot renovation of the retail stores in the existing Valley Fair Mall.

Liberty Village

Sugarhouse − Liberty Village is a 171-unit apartment project getting ready to break ground in Sugarhouse. The apartments will have appeal to mixed-income renters.

Estimated Completion: July 2014

Estimated Cost: $18 million

Salt Lake Public Safety Complex

Salt Lake City − This 160,000-square-foot, six-story facility will house the city’s police, fire and emergency operation departments. Additional features include multi-use spaces for public gatherings, a police and fire museum, and an outdoor plaza. It is designed to be completely operational after a 7.5 magnitude earthquake and to have a “net-zero” energy balance.

United States District Federal Courthouse

Salt Lake City − The new courthouse will contain 409,397 square feet of space and will form an integrated Federal Judiciary facility serving the United States District, Magistrate and Bankruptcy courts. The two buildings will be connected above grade by a common garden space for public use and below grade by a shared service court.
