Blendtec has announced a new blender series, known as the Designer Series.
“The Designer Series is by far the biggest thing to hit the high-end blender market in recent years,” said Tom Dickson, Blendtec founder. “It’s the most advanced, sophisticated blender in any environment, and we think it’s also the most gorgeous.”
The series offers a new selection of colors and finishes, including brushed stainless, die-cast copper, painted metallic champagne, molded red, cream and black
The blender, which will be on display at the Housewares Show in Chicago includes illuminated capacitive touch controls and a touch slider for fine-tuned manual speed control.
“Folks have fully embraced the touchscreen revolution, so it’s only natural that they are adopting that same technology in the kitchen,” Dickson said. “We’re excited to be among the first to deliver it. Both cooking veterans and blending novices can now blend with the most powerful and sophisticated technology that’s ever been offered. And it doesn’t hurt that the Designer Series is aesthetically amazing.”
Blendtec has exhibited Designer Series models at the 2013 Housewares show in Chicago March 2 to 5.
