Domo creates business intelligence software.

Domo works hard to take care of its people, providing a comprehensive benefits package, a tablet reimbursement for every employee, gym memberships and a generous vacation policy. But the one thing that most employees mention is the free meals that are catered every day.

“[This] has proven to be a more valuable and appreciated benefit than I would have thought,” explains an employee. “Having to not think every day of what to bring from home or waste the time going out to get something is incredibly nice.” 

Domo also cultivates a work-hard, play-hard culture with events like May the Fourth be With You every May 4 and an annual Halloween video contest. Engineers have a “hack night” every other week, where they are able to work on fun, innovative projects.

“Qualtrics has an office environment that reflects the company’s philosophy of ‘radical transparency’ with open workspaces and glass conference rooms,” says Liz Tanner, communications director. “The office also has a gym, three fully stocked kitchens, massage chairs, treadmill desks and indoor games [like] foosball and basketball.”

Employees say the company is very family friendly and, in fact, families and dogs are welcome in the offices at just about any time.

Tanner says every employee is given the resources to succeed and grow in their roles, “regardless of whether they're fresh out of college or going on 40 years of experience.”

Employees agree, with one explaining, “It is a fast-paced, goal-centered organization that requires [you] to really stretch in order to meet expectations and succeed. As such you have to be continually growing and developing. With how fast the company is growing, leadership opportunities can be had as soon as you prove your performance.”
