An excellent health insurance plan—with 93 percent paid for by MACU—and a 5 percent employer match on 401(k) plans are two of employees’ favorite things about their company.

“I love the compensation plan,” one employee says. “It is easier to list the things we don't get compensated for rather than all the things we do get extra compensation for. The medical plan is excellent, with great coverage, and the premium for the low-deductible plan is less than my wife's premium for her high-deductible plan. The included life insurance is great, and the fact that I can get as much as I can for just a couple of dollars a month is great.”

Additionally, MACU provides a parental leave program that enables employees to use company-funded short-term disability to cover up to 30 days of their FMLA leave for the birth or adoption of a child and a workplace wellness program that includes yoga, seated massage and free annual health assessments.

The company also has an adoption program that reimburses 90 percent of adoption expenses, to a maximum benefit of $4,000 per adoption with no limit on the number of adoptions for which employees may be reimbursed, and a cafeteria headed up by an award-winning chef who serves more than 1,000 subsidized meals each day.

O.C. Tanner has a wellness program that sponsors onsite fitness classes, onsite massage services, and sessions with a professional life coach, running coach and nutrition experts.
