Murray – Bank of American Fork held a grand opening at its new Murray branch last week. In 2003, Bank of American Fork first opened in a leased space in Murray as its 10th branch. This summer, the bank gutted and remodeled a building at 5824 South State Street to become a new home for the branch, and opened for business there on July 1. The bank celebrated with food, prizes and a ribbon cutting, led by the Murray City Chamber.
“Murray City is thrilled as a community to have one of the strongest community banks in Utah at their brand new location on State Street,” said Murray Mayor Dan Snarr. “There is nothing greater than a community bank because they provide great services to good communities like Murray.”
In attendance were the mayor, chamber ambassadors from the Murray City Chamber and Bank of American Fork executives.
“Bank of American Fork is committed to being a vital part of the economy in Utah,” said Richard Beard, president and CEO.
