TIMOTHY A. JOHNSON was named to serve on the Intermountain Healthcare board of trustees. Johnson is also the medical director of the Intermountain Medical Group’s Central Salt Lake Region.

Allegiance appointed STEVE BAXTER as senior vice president of EMEA and global mid-market sales. Baxter joins Allegiance with more than 25 years of experience in the enterprise software industry, of which more than eight were in the customer feedback/experience market.

The Salt Lake Chamber named TERRY BUCKNER, president and CEO of The Buckner Company, as the 106th chair of the chamber’s board of governors. Buckner began his one-year term July 1. 

Love Communications hired RHONDA GREENWOOD as director of public relations. Greenwood has nearly 20 years of public relations experience. Greenwood spent 14 years at Crowell Advertising as public relations director.

Gov. Gary R. Herbert named LAURA NELSON as director of the Office of Energy Development. Nelson previously served as energy adviser to former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman, Jr.

JEFF JONES was hired as the first full-time economic development director for Summit County. Previously, Jones was executive director for the Moscow Urban Renewal Agency in Moscow, Idaho.

Supplemental Health Care appointed MISSY BLANKENSHIP as vice president of local offices. Blankenship has spent nearly 20 years in the staffing and recruiting sectors.

Evermore Adventure Park hired STEVEN SHAIKEN as its chief operations officer. Shaiken has more than 40 years of experience in destination-branded entertainment. Most recently, he served as the executive managing director at Adventure World Warsaw.

TODD B. LEWIS joined Capital Community Bank’s Provo office as vice president/commercial loan officer. Lewis has more than 10 years of industry experience as owner of Cascade Finance, Inc. The bank also hired MARY FOSTER as lending compliance officer and CRA officer. Foster has more than 25 years of experience in banking, including branch management, lending, sales, deposits and operations. 

STEVEN ZOBELL joined AtTask as its new chief technology officer and member of the executive leadership team. ZoBell comes to AtTask from ADP AdvancedMD.

Two Weber State University students were honored in competitions. LYNDA SENEFF took first place in the Future Business Educator event at the national Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda Leadership conference. CRYSTALEE BECK, a recent master’s degree graduate, won the award for best theoretical paper at the Corporate Communication International Conference on Corporate Communication held in Hong Kong for her paper, “Perceptions of Thanks in the Workplace.”

CARRIE WILLIS, a board-certified cardiologist, began practicing in St. George at Intermountain Healthcare’s Southwest Cardiology Clinic. She has completed an advanced heart failure and transplant fellowship at the University of Utah.

DARIN DAY joined Valley View Medical Center as ancillary services manager over departments including imaging, respiratory therapy and cardiac rehabilitation. Day was previously at Primary Children’s Hospital.
