Westminster’s flight operations program incorporated additional training in crisis decision-making and created two new capstone courses in anticipation of meeting the new requirements before they are mandated. Westminster’s unique and challenging training environment, along with its newly designed courses, takes aviation students beyond FAA requirements in what is an ever increasingly competitive industry.

The AABI accreditation not only assures employers that Westminster graduates possess complex skills with a broad background in the aviation industry, but it also strengthens faculty connections to industry professionals. Westminster is now one of just 30 elite colleges accredited by AABI worldwide.


Orem - ARIBEX, INC. launched its Rectangular Collimator Adapter for the NOMAD Pro handheld X-ray system at the Chicago Midwinter Dental Meeting. The device snaps on the cone of the NOMAD Pro to reduce the x-ray exposure from a 6 centimeter circle to a 3 by 4 centimeter rectangle, matching the size and shape of a No. 2 dental image receptor. Provo - VIVINT introduced Smart Schedule Activity Patterns, a new energy-saving enhancement to Vivint’s Smart Thermostat. The new layer of intelligence enables customers to optimize thermostat settings based on data reported over time.
        Vivint also partnered with KWIKSET to give home automations customers remote access and enhanced security.

Orem - KISSTIXX received an investment from business mogul Mark Cuban. The investment was used for Kisstixx inventory with national drugstore chain Walgreens.

Orem - WENDIA launched POB (Point of Business) G6. POB G6 features a new graphical interface that gives greater access to the robust feature set found in prior versions and enables faster deployment, enhanced flexibility for customized solutions, and seamless integration with dissimilar systems.

Provo - TAHITIAN NONI INTERNATIONAL was honored as one of the “Healthiest Companies in America” by Interactive Health Solutions (IHS). The award recognizes the health and well-being of employees, and encourages corporations and individuals to take responsibility for their health.

Lindon - ACCESSDATA was named a Company that Matters in Knowledge Management for 2012 by KMWorld. The list is compiled through a collaborative effort between knowledge management practitioners, theorists, analysts, vendors, and their customers and colleagues.

Orem - SECURITYMETRICS was presented with a Bronze Stevie Award in the Call Center of the Year category in the sixth annual international Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service.

Orem - FOREVERGREEN WORLDWIDE CORPORATION launched a new web presence that allows customers to quickly identify and order ForeverGreen’s growing line of products. The site features a New Restoration Biology video and several video program introductions. Other new highlights include common health categories, an interactive selection process and doctor-recommended products.

Provo - NU SKIN ENTERPRISES INC. accelerated its anti-aging research in 2011 with more than 30 scientific presentations, posters and articles at various prestigious conferences and symposia around the world. Nu Skin also made further strides with the acquisition of LifeGen Technologies and its genetic database that is based on more than 30 years of anti-aging genetic research.

Veracity Networks Announces Expansion to Salt Lake City

Provo - VERACITY NETWORKS has expanded its internet and phone services to the downtown Salt Lake City area. Veracity Networks will provide telecom support for more than 10,000 homes and businesses serviced through the Salt Lake Main Telecommunication Central Office.

“In an economy that has been so unsettled, we’ve been fortunate to expand our operations and provide customers an alternative that cuts costs while increasing telecommunication productivity,” says Drew Peterson, CEO of Veracity Networks.

“This strategic move will put Veracity Networks in the heart of Salt Lake City and give local businesses a logical and economic choice among phone and internet service providers,” he says.

Veracity Networks currently services Salt Lake businesses such as Simmons Media Group, Wheeler Machinery, NACM and Basic Research. Veracity Networks has received statewide and national recognition for its “world-class service with a local touch” philosophy.


Ogden - JDHGROUP expanded its graphics production and agency development with the addition of a large-format digital flatbed printer, the Oce Arizona 550 GT UV flatbed printer. The Arizona is renowned for its speed and photographic-quality UV prints, and is capable of  producing more than 100 boards in an eight-hour shift.
