Ogden - BELL JANITORIAL SUPPLY relocated to a newer, upgraded facility. The company has six full-time Ogden employees and stocks more than 1,300 items, in addition to floor machine parts, in its new 8,000-square-foot facility.
Brighton - Local teams of highly trained avalanche rescue dogs and their handlers gathered in Big Cottonwood Canyon for avalanche victim search drills, beacon searches, helicopter training and classroom sessions conducted by WASATCH BACKCOUNTRY RESCUE (WBR). WBR hosts the biennial avalanche rescue dog seminar, which features instructors from elite training and certification organizations for avalanche rescue groups.
Park City - HZO WATERBLOCK technologywas used during performances at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City to allow electronics to operate underwater. WaterBlock seals electronics at the molecular level without affecting the aesthetics or weight of the device.

Snowbird - SNOWBIRD MOUNTAIN SCHOOL began offering a Learner’s Permit, a pass that allows beginners to learn to ski or snowboard with six discount lessons and five discount lift tickets. The Learner’s Permit is for first-time skiers and snowboarders, ages 13 and older.

Snowbird Celebrates 40th Anniversary
Snowbird - Forty years of Snowbird history were recently celebrated with a birthday bash and Snowbird’s annual Summit Gala.
“Snowbird has become an iconic Utah destination, and we are delighted to celebrate 40 years of pristine powder skiing, tram rides and family vacations,” says Bob Bonar, president of Snowbird and one of six Snowbird employees recently recognized for 40 years of Snowbird service.
Snowbird has become an important fixture in the community since Ted Johnson and Dick Bass opened the resort in 1971. Snowbird is continually improving, with the complete renovation of The Cliff Lodge, expansion into Mineral Basin, a connection to Alta, a world-class spa and most recently a record-breaking 783” of snow during the 2010-11 season.
Dick Bass’ dream of “the creation of a year-round resort, which respects and complements the beauty and inspiration of this natural setting—a place dedicated to increasing human understanding through the enhancement of body, mind and spirit,” has become a reality.
St. George - TASTEFUL TRENDS INTERIORS moved to a new location at 291 E. 1400 South in the Riverside Industrial Park. Jason Griffith and Meeja McAllister with NAI UTAH SOUTHERN REGION helped Tasteful Trends secure its new lease location.
St. George - HINTONBURDICK CPAS & ADVISORS acquired GARDNER TAX AND ACCOUNTING. Established in 2009, Gardner Tax and Accounting serves a broad client base of individuals and small businesses in the St. George area.
St. George - The second section of the fifth annual RED ROCK FILM FESTIVAL took place at GOGO37 GALLERY in St. George. Three different film programs were shown at GoGo37, featuring an eclectic mix of diverse films from the Red Rock Film Festival.
St. George - The CITY OF ST. GEORGE celebrated its 150th anniversary in January. As part of the festivities, the city invited the community to participate in the Decades of Dixie Heritage Festival. The festival included local talent, food vendors, children’s games and numerous exhibits of memorabilia and artifacts.
St. George - JIMMY JOHNS signed a lease for 1,800 square feet in Sandstone Village. Jimmy Johns of Southern Utah currently has two other locations in St. George with a third announced for Sunset Boulevard and a fourth under construction in Cedar City. Neil Walter and Wes Davis of NAI UTAH SOUTHERN REGION worked with the tenant and landlord to help facilitate the transaction.
St. George - ONTIUM MEDICAL selected St. George as the primary location for its new manufacturing site. The manufacturing facility is located in the Ft. Pierce River Park. Ontium’s primary products are derived from working with key healthcare practitioners who have unique, specialized and specific exploratory and surgical needs.
St. George - YELLOWPIX.COM opened a retail location at 175 W. 900 South. The new location provides a large event center that can accommodate any party, reception or function.
