Associated General Contractors of Utah awarded Anderson, Wahlen & Associates the Consultant/Engineer of the year honor at its convention held at the Little America Hotel Jan 25.
The award was presented to Bret Wahlen, president of Anderson, Wahlen & Associates by Keith McCord, KSL-TV news anchor and MC of the event.
The Associated General Contractors of Utah cited the 54 years of civil engineering experience of the firm and participation in projects in13 western states.
Anderson, Wahlen & Associates directed the civil engineering on a variety of projects, including fuel centers, large and small retail, office, residential, and government developments.
Anderson, Wahlen & Associates designed projects for Smith’s Food and Drug in North Ogden, West Jordan and Los Alamos, N.M., along with the doTERRA Worldwide Corporate Campus in 2013.
The company recently changed its name from Great Basin Engineering South to Anderson, Wahlen & Associates.
