Riverdale — America First Credit Union broke ground on a new full-service branch in downtown Ogden Thursday. The branch will be located at 1979 South Washington Blvd. to help meet the credit union’s growth in membership.
“This new location is very important to the organization and our members,” said John B. Lund, America First president and CEO. “We’re very excited to be a part of the revitalization of downtown Ogden and to provide a very convenient, full-service location for the residents and people who work here.”
R & O Construction has been contracted to build the 5,470 square-foot branch, which will include a large detached drive-up canopy with three lanes and two ATMs. Inside, the branch will feature six teller windows, a lead-teller station, five loan desks, three multi-function offices and a manager’s office. It will be a single-story, wood-framed structure.
