Advanced Brain Technologies Launches TLP

Press Release

September 4, 2012

Advanced Brain Technologies announced the launch of TLP Achieve, its newest addition to The Listening Program family of evidence-based music solutions. Designed to improve cognitive performance in children and adults, TLP Achieve brings sound brain fitness training for peak performance to the convenience of the iPod nano.

TLP Achieve consists of original High Definition recordings of acoustically modified instrumental music, which contains proprietary sound technologies including Spatial Surround offered on the iPod nano. Listened to through headphones during fifteen or thirty-minute sessions TLP Achieve trains the brain with motivating evidence-based music to support sound brain fitness. It provides an ergogenic “work enhancing” effect to help people achieve in areas of their life where performance matters most— family, school, career, and personal endeavors.

“We’ve spent the last 13 years developing sound brain fitness programs; independent studies and hundreds of thousands of listeners have shown that we develop effective programs that improve listening, learning, and communication skills,” said Alex Doman, founder and CEO of Advanced Brain Technologies. “With TLP Achieve we’re offering a specialized release of The Listening Program created specifically to support these foundational cognitive abilities which are critical to academic and career success.”

The human brain is malleable, shaped by its experiences including playing and listening to music. Recent neuroscience evidence supports the view that an enriched auditory environment can enhance neural activity. Music has long been used to improve athletic performance, increase work productivity, reduce stress, and support school achievement. TLP Achieve takes the benefits of music listening to a new level with a progressive neurologically based training program specially created to improve listening skills and stimulate brain centers associated with auditory related functions.

“Our programs have helped people with diverse needs,” said Doman. “From wounded warriors recovering from PTSD and traumatic brain injuries, families affected by autism spectrum disorders, kids struggling with auditory processing and attention deficits, to investment bankers in dire need of stress relief. What is most exciting about TLP Achieve is the impact it can make not only on a student competing for college scholarships, but also on his or her parents trying to remain competitive in the workforce when unemployment rates are near an all time high. This really is a practical tool for personal development that can give kids and adults alike the boost they need to succeed in life.”

TLP Achieve is part of The Listening Program family of evidence-based music solutions developed by the specialists at Ogden, Utah based, Advanced Brain Technologies. The program is available to families, schools, learning centers, therapy clinics, healthcare facilities, government agencies, and companies worldwide by calling 1.801.622.5676.
